Wood has the unique ability of being molded or crafted into any sort of design that the designer wants. This ability makes the process of designing homes very easy. • First category is of the ‘Door Panels’. They are composed completely of ‘rails’ or ‘stiles’.
• The next category is also the most commonly employed category in the door business – ‘Wooden Doors with Hollow Cores’- They are sturdy, strong and have the ability to provide adequate protection. They are normally installed as front doors.
• The last category is of the ‘Wooden Doors with Solid Cores’ – They have a solidified wooden pulp interior. Normally, they come in the form which is laminated. Lamination can be metallic or with the help of plywood.

Importance of Glass In House Design

One of the most beautiful and common components that has been in use for a long time now, for the purpose of designing houses, is glass. It is a very important utility and nobody can ignore it when it comes to designing a house, although they are costlier than the usual components like wood, they have other advantages that outnumber such factors. Glass has several variants which can be use for making doors. But when it comes to a type which has to be employed in one’s house, nothing can beat ‘Stained Glass’. It is usually made by adding the oxides of certain metals to the molten glass components which are solidified.

They are available in different colors and designs and can be installed on the windows as well. They are normally employed on a large scale in churches to depict paintings.
